The business is registered at 226 Lexington Ave, Buffalo, NY 14222; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip. Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Buffalo, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across New York run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. On most of those days it is open 5β9 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Kuni's at (716) 881-3800; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is kunisbuffalo.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 411 reviews, which is a strong result for a japanese in Buffalo and suggests consistent service.
Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Buffalo follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Lovely spot, quality food and diverse options. A little tight quarters but they make good use out of the space available. I was particularly happy with the quality of the eel, and am always happy to see hamachi kama on the menu!

We had a simply OK meal, nothing special. The service seems overwhelmed. Overrated, expect a wait and try not to sit outside with the sun grilling you BTW the drink in the picture was their version of an old fashioned - seemed like a canned drink over vending machine ice.

My first time dining here with my husband. We absolutely loved it. The space is cozy and inviting. Our server was amazing and had such great energy. The menu has a beautiful selection of both food and drinks. We enjoyed everything. The octopus and the udon soup were my faves oh and the vegetable tempura too! This is our new favorite place and will definitely be back.

I drove all the way from Toronto to check out this hidden gem! Had a few friends tell me about this cute restaurant tucked away in downtown Buffalo. The freshness of the fish and seafood here outshines some of the best places Iβve eaten at in Toronto! The cozy atmosphere is perfect for a date night or girls night out. The attention to detail from service to the variety in drinks is top notch! Definitely looking forward to stopping here again!

The vibe and decor was cozy. A little tight on space but service was good. Prompt and food came quickly too. We had the sample platter for sushi and sashimi. Everything tasted fresh! I was also pleasantly surprised with the veggie tempura, very creative. Their udon soup was a hit, too. A bit on the sweeter side, noodles were soft so my mom loved it, I would have preferred it a little chewy. I'd love to come back and try other things when I am in the area.
